This pages intends to provide an overview of the many hundred of modules of STEP.

Modules are categorized by their content:

  • W - wrapper modules which only pick up some entities from an IR or represent an AIC as a whole
  • S - specialization modules, adding further semantic on top of the entities given in an IR
  • G - grouping modules which only combine one or more other modules and extending selects, but not further adding additional semantic constructs.
  • I - implementation modules. They are like the grouping modules above and provide a long form for easier implementation.
  • i - another form of implementation modules defining a conformance class without being intended to have a long form schema

Generic foundation modules

These modules define generic supertypes which needs further specialization before they can be implemented.
